Lithuanian Wikipedia localization

I noticed that Lithuanian Wikipedia still have English namespaces names. Probably you'll be interested in Belarusian Wikipedia localization. See Вікіпэдыя:LanguageBe.php and Абмеркаваньне Вікіпэдыя:LanguageBe.php for more details. --EugeneZelenko 02:11, 12.07.2005 (UTC)

We already have some translated version. But it is still not used because most of our editors came into LT wikipedia already with experience on EN wikipedia editing. Maybe this will change soon :-/ Anyway, thank you :-) --Tractor 13:49, 12.07.2005 (UTC)

I mean that Lithuanian Wikipedia still use Category, Image and etc. Both versions (original English and localized) will work after localization.

Yes, we know that both versions will work :-) Simply nobody is interested in this :) So, that updated file still lays in archive of some of our admins and nobody tries to ask for that :-)))

About users who come from EN.Wikipedia - despite our tries, lots of them still aren't interested in Lithuanian version... But there is some interesting project which gave us some new active editors (of course, after some flamewars): Uncyclopedia - it was advertised in our biggest online newspaper Delfi and bunch of user came into that humour page... And it seems that we intercepted several most active of them and will try to intercept more :-) Recipe was very simple: one of us created really insulting page about Lithuania, so hundreds of users began editing and improving to clear out lies about Lithuania :-)))

Belarusian Wikipedia was nominated as worst project of the year (unfortunately http://tiba.by is not working now to see why) :-)

To speak seriously, I think blogs is very good way to promote project. Rydel's blog is one of most successful in this aspect.
